Having a problem with logon between Confluence and JIRA

Chris Bodnar Jan 08, 2014

I setup JIRA to use LDAP and Confluence to use the JIRA user directory. I can go from JIRA to Confluence without another logon but not the other way around. Httpwatch shows the Confluence request passing anonymous as the userid

Hi Chris,

Regarding the behavior you described, when integrating JIRA and Confluence with an LDAP it would not allow single sign on nativelly.

We don't expect to automatically log in all appplication after the first authentication in one of the applications. If you wish this behavior you may be interested in taking a look at Crowd application.
