HOW do I stop emails I never asked for!?!

I keep getting spam from this site and couldn't even contact support or anyone without signing up for an account I didn't want, to stop an account I never gave permission to, from constantly emailing me links. They have me in a blind cc and I keep marking as spam but they keep coming in. Not interested, don't know them, never gave permission and never heard of Atlassian and now hope I never do again.

I have the same issue and I am SICK of it! The spammers are using an Atlassian server or Domain so it IS an Atlassian issue! And like the OP I have no intention of getting rid of an email address I've been using for years!

I am sorry, but that is wrong.  The domain is being spoofed, and the Atlassian servers are not involved.  The spammers are telling you it's Atlassian, but it's not.  Same way I could give you a letter with a postmark on it saying "UK" - it could look genuine, but I can copy a postmark stamp quite easily.

Atlassian could shut down every server they have, deregister their domain and disappear from the internet and you would still be getting this stuff with those stamps on it.

Your email address has been added to a database for spammers.  They're going to keep sending this stuff one way or another.

You could:
* Unsubscribe from the mailing list (if there's option for that)
* Mark for Spam
* Report Phishing
* Block all the email addresses you're receiving emails from

There's no option to unsubscribe and I've blocked and marked numerous emails as spam but they keep coming in anyway. To whom do you report phishing? If it's coming through Atlassian, why can't they stop the person doing this?

We can't help you with this.  Your email has been fed to a load of spammers, and they're not going to stop hitting you.  You have been signed up to a load of things because it's been compromised, and they've been able to read you r mail and sign you up.

There is nothing you can do on the server side until you fix the problem that your account has been compromised.

They're coming from an Atlassian user so I can't see how it has nothing to do with Atlassian, unless Atlassian allows deceptive users to maliciously use their services.  I have no intention of getting rid of a 20 yo email address for one spammer going through Atlassian to do their dirty work.

Someone has managed to feed your email into a thoroughly compromised server.  That email happens to be valid in a Jira server. 

We can't help you with this.  Your email has been fed to a load of spammers, and they're not going to stop hitting you.  Your only useful option is abandon this email address and get a new one.
