HEELP!! PLEAASE!! not able to assign issues to user

Hello I'm a JIRA administrator,

We have a project where 2 people work, each one has different tasks.

When I created the project I put one of the two people (User 1) as project manager and I assigned him some tasks and when I try to create other tasks and assign them to the other person (user 2), it does not work, I get a message in red:

not able to assign requests to user 'user 2'

it seems that I can only assign tasks to the project manager or the administrators.

can you please help me!!

Check your permission scheme - user2 does not have "assignable user" permission.  (Note - do not mix that up with user1's "can assign issues" permission)

What should I choose to give user 2 authorisation from the following list?

Whichever one of those roles grants "assignable user" in the permission scheme.
