Greenhopper Scrum Board limit on number of projects?

Thomas Liebscher April 2, 2013

Is there a limit or a bug in JIRA/GreenHopper for the maximum number of JIRA projects that can be managed by a single GreenHopper Scrum Board?

We have dedicated projects for our different platform services and sites in order to manage different components and versions easily.

Up to now we had 10 projects in 1 global scrum board to manage our sprints and release planning.

When I want to add the eleventh project to the scrum board filter, on save, the last project in the list is silently dropped and does not get saved. No error appears.

I have no problem selecting > 10 projects in a filter in JIRA v5.2 What version are you on?

You can try using project categories in your filter.

The problem could not be reproduced. It could have had something to do with the need to first execute the changed filter bevor it can be saved.
