Git with Crowd SSO without Stash

One of the customer asking. They would like to use Git with Crowd SSO likes as following pic.

The customer has been using SVN with Crowd via Apache-Crowd with SVN permission file.

They wants to use almost same situation.

Is there good idea? OR Should be use Stash? Could you like to giving an idea? Thanks.

Hi Asai,

Integrating Crowd SSO and Apache will take a fair amount of custom code but it is possible.

I would imagine that after you set up basic authentication, your customer may want more advanced features such as project level permissions.

If you customer goes for a custom Crowd/Apache integration they will most likely spend more time and effort creating the custom code than the cost a Stash license.

The Customer started to considering to use Stash now with Crowd/Apache and Git .

The customer has been considering and trying a trial setting now.
