Getting pop up authentication as username and password is required through as user login

Hi ,

we are facing problem in jira through user login.Once we login to jira as user account we are getting authetication required pop up as username and password is required.could please let me know why this pop is coming in mozilla?

we are using IIs which has configured for our JIRA application.

Then has your IIS been configured to ask for some form of authentication?

Kanthu, check if the JIRA virtual directory in IIS has been chose to use Basic Access Authentication or Integrated Windows authentication under Authenticated access section? Try uncheck both of the option as instructed by the KB article above.
