Getting confluence to work with a jira account

Abhishek Khanna September 22, 2012

We've just added the confluence trial to our Jira on demand account, and when we click Wiki we get the following errors:

Your on demand instance doesn't include the Wiki functionality.

I've also noticed that "sysadmin" (noreply@atlassian.com) is the only user with the groups confluence-administrators and system-administrators.

Hi Abhishek,

It sounds like you need to provide access to the other users in your instance who you wish to provide access to the Wiki because currently only the Atlassian Support user, (sysadmin), currently has access to the newly added Wiki. Any one with administrator permissions can give access to applications by following the instructions on this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Managing+application+access

Once you and your users have access to the application then the error message you are getting should disappear, (at least for users who have been granted access anyway).

All the best,
John
