Getting a pre-commit hook error in Jira when including a valid issue ID

Steve Ray July 26, 2013

Hi. We're getting pre-commit hook errors today. While that option is turned on to require a valid Jira ID, we're using valid JIRA ids and still getting the error. Two of us have experienced this today, referencing two different Jira issue IDs and two different files we're trying to commit. The attached screenshot shows you what I'm seeing.

This problem is really worrisome; I don't want this to stand in the way of us committing code for releases which need to go out soon. Any help today would really be appreciated.

You should contact your JIRA and/or Subversion server support team, not Atlassian.

Well, since we have the On Demand hosted solution, I thought Atlassian *was* my support team.

That said, the issue is not happening anymore.
