Getting JIRA custom field content

I have a groovy script to get a custom field value from the form, and it works fine in JIRA 5, but not in JIRA 6.  Can you advise?  Thanks!

Code:

value = issue.getCustomFieldValue(componentManager.getCustomFieldManager()?.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Service"));

Error:

Hi Chris,

most methods of ComponentManager are deprecated in JIRA 6. You need to use ComponentAccessor to get the CustomFieldManager.

Please see: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/6.2.7/

Clemens
