We have a connection setup between JIRA and GIT using the DVCS connector. The commits are working just fine and we see them on the JIRA issue. But, when the developer uses any of the hashtagas mentioned on this page, ,none of them are working - they cannot transition (#resolve) or log time (#time) to an issue. Thosehttps://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages commands are being ignored.

Does anyone know why this might be occurring?

The issue was the email address. The user's GIT email address was not the same as their JIRA email address. Once they were the same, the hashtags worked.
