GH Board filter not working

I edited the filter on an existing GH board to screen out a new Issue type, but when I save and return to the Board, these new issues still displaying.

I've saved and refreshed screens... still displaying. Any thoughts?

I found the answer...

To have edits saved to an existing filter, you must log in under the same ID you used to create the filter. It is unfortunate that Jira lets you make changes but does not throw errr/advisory prompt to let you know that you can only save to a new filter, not save edits to an xiting filter.

Are you sure you are saving the same filter or are you saving it as a new filter by any chance? Can you verify unde board configuration that the filter query is as expected?
