Found multiple JSESSIONID cookies, when rendering link to screenshot applet page

Atle Rinvoll March 3, 2013

Hi

I am running Jira 5.2.7 behind Apache and i've started to get lots of the following messages in the log:

/secure/IssueAction!default.jspa [jira.web.util.CookieUtils] Found multiple JSESSIONID cookies, when rendering link to screenshot applet page. You may have another Java webapp at context path '/' (in which case this message is harmless), or there may be a problem in IE attaching the screenshot via the screenshot applet.

Everything seems to work fine but the message is annoying.

Is it fixable? I presume it has something to do with tomcat and apache?

If not, can I turn off this logging?

Thanks

\Atle

We also have loads of these messages in our log. Can we do anything to get rid of them? We run JIRA 5.2.10.

I've encountered the same issue and after inspecting the cookies I noticed that they are just for the current browser session. A browser restart is enough to get rid of the log messages.

Hi there, I'm in the same situation, did you have any luck solving the issue?

No, I haven't. It seems to work ok so I haven't looked more into it.
