For the new Sidebar in Projects: How to set a default Tab?

Carsten August 24, 2015

Currently the Project view opens on Backlog, which is suboptimal.

a) Backlog is accessible under Agile

b) our Backlog view contains a bunch of Projects and custom filters, but with a selected project none of these Filters is selected by default. So all Issues in the Backlog are shown, regardless of the just chosen project.

How to set the statistic view as default page?

http://<jira>/projects/<project>/summary/statistics

Hi Carsten,

Actually this is a default behavior for the new project navigation and we have an already raised feature request to have this changed. Please access the feature request on this page and feel free to vote on it and add any comments. Furthermore, you can try the following work-around:

Disable the new project navigation and the summary page is no longer redirected. You can do this on per-user or a global basis:

  1. Access the Dark Features Administration screen via direct URL (<INSTANCE_URL>/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa)
  2. Disable dark feature com.atlassian.jira.projects.ProjectCentricNavigation.Switch
  3. Add dark feature com.atlassian.jira.projects.ProjectCentricNavigation.Disabled
