Find comments by current User

https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-commented(commentquery) clearly describes how to find issues where a specific user has made comments. However, the usefulness of sharing filters with this is limited. I would like to be able to create a filter where it finds issues commented on by currentUser() (The currently signed on JIRA User) in order to share this filter across the organization. Is there any way to do this, or can this be done as a feature request?

Thanks in Advance!

Phil
