Filter to Capture when was a transition happens for a first time

Hello Cool people,

Is there a way to filter and know when was a certain transition happens for the first time? We have a very complex workflow for one of our project and was trying to filter a certain transition.  Basically, we want to filter a transition on when was a  ticket being first move from a status called DEV to QA. In between this status is a  transition called   "approve for QA deploy" which we want to filter.  Is this doable?

You can probably have a checkbox custom field that is automatically set when the transition happens for the first time. And probably use that to figure out if it is the first time transition or not.
