Fetching linked issues

Hi there

Is there any way of getting linked issues with Jira Python? Am a newbie to python, but am able to connect and do basic queries. The task I'm trying to solve however is quite complex as I need to find blockers from linked issues on tickets. Was wondering if anyone had tackled this before?

I know this can be achieved by some plug-ins, but that's not an option. So, am checking if JIRA python can help?

when i searched it is showing in jql format but i want api format .

can u pls send me ur code of getting linkedissues of a issue.

i can create a linked issue which is caused and i want assignee of the linked issue and list out the linked issues
