Feature branches not merged – should not appear in JIRA ticket

Hello,

 I am looking for help if this use case possible if so how;

• We are spliting one repo into multiple repo’s 
• Now JIRA ticket shows branches from new repo as well old repo
• We don’t want old repo feature branches appear in JIRA if not merged

I this possible to alter workflow, and add some condition? Any lead or blog would be very much helpful. Thanks

Branches are going to show in Jira regardless of merge status. This is important because it shows where a story's work is being saved even if work is not complete.

Maybe old repo branches that are not (and won't be) merged should be deleted?
