Hi there -- we have a web service that is able to log application errors related to a specific JIRA issue right into the issue comments using the REST API. So we can see the actual errors related to a bug filed in JIRA directly in the JIRA issue. The problem is that we can have dozens of errors mixed into the comments making the human comments hard to find.
Any suggestions on a better way to log these errors in JIRA, Confluence, or elsewhere and still be able to easily link to the issue in JIRA?
