I need to export my user stories into a pdf, word, or excel for a 3rd party consultant. How can I do that?

Filter for them and use the Excel or Word view offered at the top of the results.

This format will not download the attachments from the user stories.

Any idea how to download attachments in JIRA software Enterprise version?

Hi there, does anyone know why images or attachments don't show (currently showing blank squares) in an exported User Story .doc?

Will the JIRA PDF View Plugin or Intelligent Reports function offer a resolution?

Better PDF Exporter for Jira (which is the new name of JIRA PDF View Plugin) absolutely display images, either when being inline in a field like Description or Environment or when just being a simple attachment.

See a lot of examples here: https://midori-global.com/products/better-pdf-exporter-for-jira/server/template-gallery

Another way that would give you more control over formatting and included content is to use Intelligent Reports. It can export the issues into a word template that you design in Word itself, and you can use the point and click interface to choose which JIRA data goes where in the document.
