Excel to Jira

Dianne Guinares May 13, 2014

Hi team

Just checking if there is a way to update Jira issues via uploading Excel into it? The team here has updated the issues in Excel and thought to check if this was possible, rather than having to re-enter them into jira. Thanks.

I'm not sure if you can import a xls(x)-file, but you could use the csv-Importer. Please check the https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV

Or another alternative to the JIRA importer is described in How to import JIRA issues using CSV

Thanks,
