I'm using Excel 2010 and it keeps on crashing when I try to open the exported file. I even tried the template! Excel can recover it but it tend to be an intermittent fix. Here is the log error <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main"><logFileName>error109480_01.xml</logFileName><summary>Errors were detected in file '\\File-ap1-02\userdata3$\MARCJ340\Downloads\GDS SPM Report.xls'</summary><additionalInfo><info>Excel recovered your formulas and cell values, but some data may have been lost.</info></additionalInfo></recoveryLog>

I have similar problem with Excel 2013. I have used an example template file http://download.zenofx.com/jdr/template.xls

After exporting issues from filter and opening the resulting file Excel throws an error
