Errormessages during CSV Import, does the import skip it?

Hi, I'm importing issues from another Jira instance into our own using CSV imports.

After the import has completed it provides a list of errors it encountered.

Some of the errors are along the lines of this:
Error importing issue [externalId='151884', summary='Blabla']: Status [ Done ] does not have a linked step in the [ Development Workflow ] workflow. Please map to a different status.

I know what the error means and how to solve it, but how does the importer handles this? Does it skip this particular issue and continues with the next one, or does it import the issue and when you open it requiring you to edit the field it complains about?

Hi Anthony,

every issue must have a status within Jira. The message suggest that an issue that is to be imported cannot be mapped to the status "Done".

In that case the issue is not imported - it would be in an "undefined" state. The importer prevents this.
