Epics still displayed even with filter by issuetype=Story

In BigGantt I have a Quick Filter like:

issuetype=Story and assignee=myuser

With this, I would expect every row to be a story. However, some of the rows are actually epics (and they have the expanding "+").

Any ideas on how to just display the stories?

Hello David,

Epics visible on the WBS Panel are displayed as parents in order to present an outline of the project's structure. Your Gantt chart will only display desired issues, though mentioned WBS behaviour is intended.

If you wish not to see certain Epics to be displayed as parents, the only alternative approach which we would suggest in this case, is to create a completely separate Program which would only have desired issues (no parents) in its structure.
