Epic level reporting (JIRA Cloud)

Peter Ebraert January 18, 2018

Hi all,

I am looking for a report on which I can see all epics in my Project.

For each Epic, I want to see the progress:

  • based on completed stories / total amount of stories
  • based on total amount of story points of the completed stories / total amount of story points of all the stories

For each Epic, I would like to see when it is planned to be complete

  • Largest end date of all the sprints  containing at least one of the user stories linked to that epic

The Epic report is getting close, but it is scopped on only 1 epic. Is such a report available?

Is there a way I can configure my own reports?

Thanks,

Peter

Hey Peter,

You should take a look at Portfolio for JIRA: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/portfolio

It would show all of the Remaining stories under an Epic, remaining Story Points (as well as a progress bar).

It also gives you a schedule of when Epics are planned to be complete (updated in real-time depending on updates to the tickets themselves) as well as showing the last Sprint when work is scheduled.

Hope this helps,

Tyler
