Entering a date of 11/23/2020 JIRA updates it to 1/23/2020

I have a custom date field (Join Now Launch Date) and every time I enter a date of 11/23/2020 and refresh screen it is overwritten to 1/23/2020. I've tried making sure the date pickers and other fields are setup in advanced settings (although I've never had this problem with any other date fields until now) But I did reference the below article and that didn't work either.

You should be able to adjust this within the advanced settings.

  • Click on the Cog (gear) icon in the upper right corner
  • Go to the general configuration from the left hand nav
  • Click advanced settings
  • Adjust the date picker formats.

You this page as a reference for the format setting when updating this value.

I tried this and no luck. It actually accepts the date but just changes it to January.
many other ideas?

I apologize, It looks like those settings are now only working in the old issue view. The only other location is the global settings under the "Look and Feel" area

Thanks @Julian G  I tried this.. also didn't work. I guess I will open a support ticket. I haven't had this happen until now. Thanks for the help.
