Empty Service Portal after upgrade to Jira 7.2 (and 7.2.1)

Thomas Nistelberger September 12, 2016

After upgrading to JIRA 7.2 (and still after upgrading to 7.2.1) our Service Portal comes up completely empty, regardless of the used browser. We tried creating a new Service Project  as a test, the portal for this project also shows up empty in the browser.

The only thing i could find in the logs is the following error:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Cannot read resource servicedesk/vendor/spectrum/spectrum.css

Unfortunately i can't find the directory the error is referring to.

Any tips?

Regards,

Thomas

See this related Answer: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/40354255 it turned out to be a plugin (Database Custom Field), which was the cause in our installation also.
