Email notification (reminder to do a followup) on a closed issue

paul vinter September 11, 2013

Hi there,

Once an issue is closed would any of you have a suggestion as to how I might have Jira email one individual 1 month, 3 months and 6 months after the issue is closed? This is to remind the writer about a follow up action.

Sorry this is a bit broad and likely not so technical, if indeed it is possible. Might this be an open-ended sub-task?

Thanks

Paul

you can create a filter as per your requirement and subscript filter as specified in following document

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email

or try with script runner eescalation service

Thank you for your comments - both were useful and I think the search reminder is ideal for me.

Hey,

check this question as it might give you a direction where to go:

Maybe that transition would be only a technical workaround to fire an e-mail...

Cheers
