Email disappears without creating issue


The problem is in email handler - "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue". Sometimes JIRA deletes email from the inbox but the issue is not created (about 10% of emails are deleted without issue creation). Comments are not created either - this actions can be ssen in logs (I mean comment creation). If the email is deleted without issue creation no log entries are found.

Any suggestions about this problem?

Sorry for disturbance. I found a test JIRA instance with running mail handlers that were intercepting these emails.

You might want to start with this to check for possible issues with incoming mail. Enable debug logging on incoming mail as described in there, maybe there's something in the logs that would help you understand what the problem is. 

Thank you for suggestion, Piotr, but I've checked this article and it didn't help at all - the analysis showed that JIRA didn't see these emails - the answer is below.
