Email Notifications

Hi

 

Is it possible to create an email notification scheme whereby the reporter / creator of the issue receive an email to advise no updates have occurred over a defined period?

 

I.e. if an issue has no update from an assignee after 1 week since last comment or status change, a notification is sent out advising of an outstanding ticket requiring attention

You could use subscriptions for this? It won't notify them of the individual issue. Instead it will give them a list of issues where this is the case. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email
