Can email a PDF, but has anyone seen the ability to email a CSV of an issue?  For example, collaborating with an external party that might need to cut a ticket based on some event in your instance that they don't have access to?  A configurable CSV might be useful.

I suppose maybe that could be done with a custom email template that's just formatted all crazy so it's effectively a CSV.  Hmm.

Anyways, thoughts?

You can create a filter that only returns the one issue and download it to CSV, then email it.

Thanks Joe. That's our best option though, right? Can't have this automatically done the way you can email a PDF using the automation plugin, for example?

You can email an Excel file automatically from JIRA using the Excel Automation Plugin.

Although this is still not CSV, it is pretty close to that. (I'm actually not seeing the advantage of using CSV here.) And it is fully customizable.
