Edit Issue Type: Error Message

Schuyler Bishop July 23, 2015

Hi all,

I am trying to edit an issue type (Bug). When I go to Admin > Issue Types > and select Bug to edit, then try and change the Avatar (which I can do with any other issue type), this error message pops up: Issue type to update does not exist. The Bug issue type exists everywhere else, it just won't let me edit it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks!

I'm actually having the same problem. Is there any fix you've found yet?

Hi Paulo,

Yes, this is only happening with the bug issue type. None of the other issue types.

I will try your suggestion. Thank you!

Hello Schulyer,

This is an odd behaviour, is it happening with just the bug specific issue type ?

Besides that error message, is there any additional entry on the log files ? Try to reproduce the error while looking to catalina.out (<JIRA-INSTALL>/logs/) and update us with the log results.
