E-mail notifications stopped coming suddenly for one user


We have one user who stopped receiving e-mail notifications suddenly and the problem appears on two Jira instances held within our organization.

He receives notification on Jira site but e-mails are not working as supposed to.

We have reviewed his notification settings as well as project settings and it should work (other users with the same settings and project role receive e-mails), notification helper provides following information:



What may cause such problem? Even despite following notification there was no e-mails received by user:

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Have you checked with your Mail Team that the emails are landing on his mailbox. Also check that he/she has no rules on the inbox for such


We have asked the user to check his e-mail settings on his mailbox and he confirmed that even if there were any rules he deleted it due to this issue. He does not have any problems with other mails, only Atlassian ones.

E-mail for notifications on the project he is a part of is also set correctly
