Duplicate mail from subscription

Rumceisz November 6, 2012

Hi All,

there is a weird problem occured:

a user gets 2 emails in short time on after the another (1 minute in between them) from amail subsription.

The user has only 1 account with his emaila address

In the test environment of our Jira the mail sending is switched off.

The weird thing that the user has already deleted and recreated the subscription 3 times(!) and the duplication came again every time!

The other users subscribed the the particular subscripiton don't get duplications only this user!

What can be the problem behind that???

Can you please help?

Rumi

Is the subscription only for the user, or for a mailing list? It is possible that the user is subscribed to the filter both via username and via mail filter.

Are you sure there isn't any other user account with the same mail address? Also, are both notifications coming from subscriptions or one of them from notifications?
