Due date is different in issue email than issue screen

I am seeing several issues where the notification email says one date, but the issue screen has a different date.  The issues are being generated via the API, if that makes a difference.

Hi Brian, is there a specific set of time it is off by? What type of information is being passed through the API to generate this information?

The due date is off by 1 day on the due date field.  it's being pushed from a web form to an issue field.
