Does the "Create Branch" functionality in a Jira Svc Desk ticket work the same as in Jira Software?

We are moving a development team to Jira Service desk to leverage the intake and strong customer management features.  But before we fully pull the trigger on this change, want to ensure that the "Create Branch" feature will work the same in JSD as it does in Jira software today.

Hi @Jeff Pittman,

"Create Branch" option is from the Development Tools feature which is only available for Jira Software projects. It would not show up for Jira Service Desk projects by default.
