Does the issue effect if the screen is changed?

Hi,

I have a query. i have a jira project and created some issues in that(bug,story etc). Initially we had same screen for bug and story. Now i want to chnage the screen for all my issue types. I want to know if it will effect the issues which were created before. Kindly let me know. we are working on a crucial project.

Hello,
Nothing will happen to the issue. All fields will have the same values as they had before you modified the screen. But if you want to modify the issue you will be able to change only the fields which are on your new screen.
