Does anyone know of an Alteryx / Jira connector to send values back and forth?

Deepa Narasimhan July 19, 2017

I'm trying to find out if there is an Alteryx / Jira connector to pass data back and forth.  I'm trying to pull issues based on some criteria, do some processing and then update selected fields in the issues with new values.

Is there a connector available to accomplish this?

Any input or suggestion is appreciated!

Thanks.

I was not able to find any plugins in the Atlassian Marketplace that would help direcly with this kind of integration.   However searching the Alteryx site I did find some similar requests such as

https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Data-Sources/JIRA-Connector/td-p/51562
and
https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Data-Sources/Jira-connector-or-sample-code-with-Download-tool/td-p/32846

One method appears to be using a macro to share data between systems, while the other makes mention of JIRA's support of the REST API

Thanks for your reply and for providing the links, Andrew!

I did read the information under those links but wanted to find out if there  was anything  already available (like an extension of the connector that currently exists).  I will look into creating  a connector with the methods described.

Thank you.
