Does anyone know how to take out the sidebar on the right on the backlog board?

 When I open the backlog board, every detailed "issue" comes up on the right but it takes so much space and I would prefer to take it out... very simple thing but can't find the solution! Many thanks in advance!

Hello @Eric Font 
This is a default view when you see things from backlog screen or the active sprint screen

you will have a close icon to manually close the side screen.

try to check if you can find any in Select more (•••) > Board settings in the top-right corner.

(You should be a board admin to make some changes)
