Does a project import kill performance on Jira Cloud?

Yamuna Ramasubramaniyan September 7, 2016

We have a functioning cloud instance, performance is fine.  I have a locally hosted JIRA server, performance is also fine.  I set up a new eval cloud instance, everything was kosher.  I did a project import from local JIRA server to the eval Cloud instance.  Performance took a significant dive, >30 seconds to get to the login page and a minutes to load the default dashboard.  Anyone else experienced this pain and any suggestions for me?

Indexing was the first thing I tried, no change.  Also opened a support ticket hours earlier, crickets sad

It could be indexing... Is it running slow even after the index finishes? You could also open a support issue with Atlassian! You are paying for their support. smile
