We are adding the users to the watchers field who requires notifications in the workflow transitions. We are creating the notification schema accordingly to send the emails( for example only on status change, but not on every edit of the issue).
But does the watchers field uses the same notification schema we created? or it uses it's own email mechanism to send the emails?
