Does Jira or Bonfire have a public facing plugin that will allow the logging of issues/bugs reported by users?

In other words, an API that links to a DB allowing for the tracking of user-generated bugs. Ideally this plugin would also capture the user's system profile specs to report along with the issue.

Yes, actually. In OnDemand, they forgot to disable Issue Collectors, so you can attach a little tab to a web page that allows browses in the wild to file some feedback through a fairly customizable form that creates an Issue directly in one of your projects. Not very hard to set up, either.

The easiest way to find it is go into Admin and search for Issue Collector.
