Does Atlassian OnDemand automatically delete old closed JIRA issues?

Does Atlassian OnDemand (aka Atlassian Cloud) delete closed JIRA issues after some period (e.g 6 months after they are closed)?

As we set up our JIRA, we've been assuming it DOES delete them automatically.  But I can not find this documented anywhere.

No we do not. Your data is yours and we don't ever delete it without your direct instruction to do so.

Deleting issues WILL come back to bite you. The forum is full of people trying to restore them. If you don't want them in the project a good option is to move them to an 'archive' project with limited access. That way they will still be available.
