Do you know if we can send an email when Issues are on some statuses ?

Hello,

On JIRA native, there are emails notifications.

But we receive too many emails.

for example we have this workflow :

1°) Open

2°) In progress

3°) release

4°) To be tested

5°) Closed

How can I configure the send emails only for Open and release statuses ?

You can try to create a custom event and fire that event in post-function on the transitions you want.

And in notification scheme use this event to send emails to required people.
