Dividing a product to two integrated products

I have a case where ai had a product that I want to divide it to multiple products where the they integrate within the main product in Jira

whats the best way to separate them where each product has it’s own roadmap and epics but it effects the larger product

This is where Portfolio for Jira shines. You create the individual projects in Jira and then let Portfolio show how they roll up into a higher-level roadmap. It lets you do capacity planning and what-if projections. You should definitely consider using Portfolio for Jira to address this.

If you want to stay entirely within Jira projects, then you can create the Project (P) as a project that has Epics and let P1 and P2 stories link t the P Epics. I'm not sure how much utility you get out of this, but it would let you run some types of reports.
