Displaying custom fields in Sub Tasks

Mike Barrett March 7, 2013

When I edit a sub task I have two custom fields Est. Release cycle and Est. Sprint... I want these two fields to appear in the sub task view when viewing the parent issue, then it would be nice if they appear when viewing the issue from the plan/work board.

Sub Task View when in Parent Issue View

In the jira-config.properties file , you can add columns as shown below

jira.table.cols.subtasks=customfield_123, customfield_234,customfield_345

Hmmm. how do you get access to that when you're using on Demand?

You don't. It's a system admin function. I don't know if Atlassian will customise it for you, but there's no harm in raising a support call with OnDemand support to ask.
