Display Linking Status Easily

I would like to know if it is possible to show linking of stories in an easy way. We have lots of stories with dependencies on other stories and it would be great to see visually when they are linked and how. Either on a Tab (Plan/Work) or through a report. Any ideas?

Thanks!

The Links Hierarchy shows those dependencies on the Plan Board:

Building reports for that upon JQL functions is also supported, but I would recommend you working in a visual way first.

Is there anyway to do this without having to purchase the plugin?
