I was wondering if there is a way to disable 'Work logged on issue' notification when a user logs time? How do I disable this in notification scheme? Also, I would like to know if there is a way to send time sheet submission notifications to certain approvers, not everyone.
Disassociate the following from any Role/Group/User within the associated Notification Scheme
Work Logged On Issue, Work Started On Issue, Work Stopped On Issue, Issue Worklog Updated, Issue Worklog Deleted
Approval Processes and Accounting section within Global config
Will take you the default team config that is I think generally setup once installed or change default in the link above to your team name, its here you set who can approve and they should receive notifications.
You can also set a scheduler to remind those to fill out their time sheets: http://<your_jira_url_>/secure/admin/tempoSchedulerSettings!default.jspa
