Disable autowatch for one project only

I would like to disable autowatch, for only users who belong to a specific project, instead of disabling it for all jira-users. Anyone who knows if it is possible and in that case how to do it?

No, you can't do this. Autowatch is a personal setting and that's the end of the story.

What you could try, if you have the script runner, or a bit of desire to code a plugin, is to write a listener that listens for comment/update in that project and strips the author out of the watchers field. Not pretty, but the only way I can think of doing it.

Thank you for your really quick reply Nic. It was my first try to use this forum and I am really impressed. I will settle with that we can't do it.
