Different Notification Recipients for Sub-Tasks vs. Issues

I need some help setting up notifications for sub-tasks.

The recipient list for sub-task notifications differs from the normal recipients;
in our concrete example, creation of a sub-task and all further activities should
send notifications limited to the Assignee and Reporter and not to all reciplients
as configured for Issue Creation.
Furthermore, this behavior is limited to specific Projects.
Ideally, a combination of different goups as recipients should be possible.

Can this be done through a combination of Notification Scheme and Project configurations?
Or is some programming necessary?

I would appreciate instructions in as much detail as possible.

Hi

You can configure notifications based on issue type by creating a custom workflow for each issue type.

Then for each of the workflows you create a events which get fired off when certain transitions occur and sends off emails to your defined stakeholders.
