Description of a sub-task

Markus Semmelmann February 3, 2020

Hi,

we often use sub-task and create lists with tasks and sub-tasks.

My question is, is it possible to get this:

Task-1     New Website (Task)

Task-1/1    New Logo (Sub-Task)

Task-1/2   New Color (Sub-Task)

Task-1/3   nice Pictures (Sub-Task)

Task-2     Vita (Task)

Task-2/1    Name (Sub-Task)

Task-2/2   Adress (Sub-Task)

Task-2/3   Phone (Sub-Task)

OR

Task-1     New Website (Task)

New Website / 1    New Logo (Sub-Task)

New Website / 2   New Color (Sub-Task)

New Website / 3   nice Pictures (Sub-Task)

Task-2     Vita (Task)

Vita / 1    Name (Sub-Task)

Vita / 2   Adress (Sub-Task)

Vita / 3   Phone (Sub-Task)

Thank you

Markus

Hi @Markus Semmelmann

Do you mean get the description in the specified format via REST API or in some other page?

In the search query (JQL), have you tried adding an 'ORDER BY' clause to sort like this: "ORDER BY parent"
